April Lockhart
April Lockhart is a born July 4 April, 1995. In the seventh grade she began taking piano and guitar lessons. This ignited her passion to write songs. The first song she wrote was called Different which she composed at 12 years of age. She spent lots of time at 14 writing songs and practicing music. Soon after, April started traveling with her father as well as write her songs in NY and LA. April started to incorporate additional relevant subjects into the"Take my Hand song for some friends, such as peer-pressure issues and suicide among teens. Lockhart, a popular lifestyle influencer as well as working in partnerships with clean-cut beauty brands Ilia, has built her own following. Her birth was without a left hand, and it's part of who she is--but this isn't the whole truth. Lockhart's Instagram profile doesn't hide her disability but doesn't concentrate solely on it. What message is it trying to convey? The message? We have many different aspects, that our identities and physical self aren't as they seem. It's not my intention to let that define me I don't intend to become an influencer where that's all I discuss because there are many different aspects to me Lockhart speaks via video from her residence in Nashville. It doesn't impact my everyday life. I go about every day as normal and have found my own method of adjusting the things. But, I consider it a very important aspect of me. Lockhart has served as an excellent inspiration to her fellow women with regards to acceptance of oneself. She has been through times when she was uncomfortable wearing certain clothing styles which displayed her arms. She is able to wear anything she wants, and she proudly shares photos of her in these outfits. Self-love, she says, is a process. "I don't think you'll ever get in that place," she said. But, this isn't typical for people that is prone to doubts. It is essential to be around individuals who truly know you.
